The joy of waiting

Here's what you get when you aren't in a hurry, my friends. Perfect gloves!

I wore these this morning for an early(for me) walk, and they kept my hands warm very nicely!

I have a good bit left over-hmm...maybe enough for some moccasin sock tops?

My mom called last week requesting some socks for my stepfather. Apparently his feet have been cold lately. I'm knitting on my long lost faroe shawl, but will have to take a break when that yarn comes in. I want to get them knit and sent out before spring hits!
